Hello my little birding friends! Hope this newsletter finds you well and enjoying the birds. I’ve had a couple of Little Green Herons and Egrets in the back yard but not the Great Blue Heron like I always have.

My 11th grade literature class changed my life. I had a fascinating and enthusiastic teacher who brought life and meaning to the Romantic Era literature we read, amongst which was “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner”, by Samuel Coleridge.
